While every wedding is special, there’s really nothing more meaningful than an intimate celebration filled with close friends and family of the couple. And Alana & Alejandro’s wedding day was exactly that – a beautiful, colorful, emotional, and truly meaningful joining of two families. Every detail was perfect because the couple had a vision of what they wanted from the start, which we were able to bring together perfectly. And with photos this beautiful, you know the actual wedding was something incredible!
Alana & Alejandro spent a leisurely morning at the bride’s home, getting ready together while sipping champagne, laughing, and enjoying the day. Behind the Veil was onsite and did a gorgeous job with Alana’s hair and makeup. And luckily, Hamilton Photography was there from the start, capturing every moment, including a special first look with the bride and her dad.
Following a beautiful morning together and lots of family photos, the couple exchanged vows on the lawn of the Glanell family home. Select Events provided the beautiful tent and additional rental items for the ceremony. The bride’s amazing bouquet and the lush florals on the chuppah came from the wonderful team at Fantastic Flowers. C&J Entertainment provided the perfect ceremony music along with all sound equipment.
Once the couple said “I do,” they remained at the bride’s home for final photos while guests were chauffeured to the Harbor Hill Yacht Club, via shuttles from An Extraordinar Limo, for the cocktail hour and reception. The space was beautifully set with more rentals, including colorful linens, from Select Events, amazing draping and lighting by Event Dynamics, and more incredible florals from Fantastic Flowers.
While beverages were passed by the catering staff from Ken’s Creative Kitchen, the YeraSon Orquesta Charanga band played for guests. Shortly thereafter, DJ Karl from C&J Entertainment announced Alana & Alejandro as husband and wife to “Skate” by Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars.
From there, the night never slowed down. The dancing of the Hora, a welcome from the father of the bride (complete with a tequila toast!), and a blessing from the bride’s grandmother were followed by a delicious dinner from Ken’s Creative Kitchen. Following the father/daughter and mother-in-law/son-in-law dance, Alana & Alejandro invited their guests to join them on the dance floor, where the DJ and band alternated sets until early the next morning.
With a late night snack and a group of guests that never quit dancing, the party went late. However, every one was ready to go again the next day with a brunch provided for guests, featuring Ken’s Creative Kitchen once more, also at the Harbor Hills Yacht Club.
From beginning to end, this was a special day. We were honored to be able to share this day with an incredible couple and their loving families, and we can’t wait to hear about all the happiness in store for the newlyweds.
Special thanks to Hamilton Photography for the incredibly beautiful photos!
