Sunday, October 17, 2021 was a beautiful fall day for a beautiful couple to get married. Sarah + Ryan’s wedding at Turf Valley Resort was as picturesque as they come, and a truly special, family-focused celebration.
Sarah and her girls began their morning in her room at the resort where the team from Swept Hair & Make-Up arrived early to get everyone looking picture perfect. Shortly after the morning got started, Sororal Twin Studios – who served as the couple’s photographers and videographers for the day – also joined the party and got lots of beautiful shots of everyone laughing, enjoying the morning, and relishing every moment. Meanwhile, Ryan and his guys were also onsite – dressing for the day, and celebrating the big afternoon to come.
Once hair and makeup were complete, Sarah put on her wedding dress and captured a few last photos with her family and bridal party. Once those were complete, it was already time to head to the ceremony space. The resorts’ golf carts were on hand to provide a quick shuttle for the wedding party and guests.
Outdoors on the lawn of the resort, Sarah + Ryan’s guests gathered to share in this special moment. They were surrounded by beautiful flowers from Corner Florist in the most vibrant of fall colors. DJ AJ Smith of AJ Productions provided the ceremony music and Reverend Ken Humbert was present to officiate the ceremony.
The moment when Sarah came down the aisle was especially meaningful as the couple had opted not to do a first look, and they saw one another in their wedding attire for the first time in front of all of their guests. After exchanging “I dos”, and being pronounced as husband and wife, Sarah + Ryan recessed back down the aisle to the cheers of their family and friends.
Following the ceremony, guests were then ushered over to a cocktail hour where they were served delicious appetizers and drinks. The couple had also chosen two signature drinks representing their personal favorites – an old-fashioned and an apple cider Moscow mule – both perfectly fitting the fall theme.
Shortly thereafter, the reception doors were opened, and guests could find their seats using the adorable pumpkin seat cards. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party was announced, and the couple was officially introduced as “Mr. and Mrs. Sarah & Ryan Klein” by DJ AJ Smith. They went directly into their first dance as husband and wife to the song “Tuesdays” by Jake Scott.
After the father of the bride gave a welcome and Reverend Humbert provided a blessing, a delicious dinner was served. After dinner, the couple snuck away for a few sunset photos with Sororal Twins Studios but returned in time for the toasts – given by the matron of honor and best man.
Next, after the bride and groom shared dances with their parents, the party officially kicked off and the dancing really began. Throughout the night, a sweet slide show of the bride and groom played in the background as the guests celebrated. The only formalities that remained – the cutting of the beautiful, flower-covered cake by Yia Yia’s Bakery and the garter and bouquet tosses – were completed and guests spent the rest of the night enjoying one another’s company and celebrating this amazing couple.
This was a truly special day filled with lots of love, gorgeous fall colors, and supportive family and friends. We want to say how much we appreciate Sarah + Ryan and both of their families for letting us be a part of this incredible day.
And special thanks to Sororal Twins Studios for all the beautiful photos!
