On a beautiful November day, Angela + George had the very best time getting married and celebrating with all of their loved ones. This couple was so much fun, and the day flew by as everyone laughed and truly enjoyed one another’s company.
On the morning of Saturday, November 6, Angela and her girls gathered for a bridal party breakfast at the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club to get the day started off right. Once everyone had a chance to eat and prep for the day ahead, the girls headed over to their cottage on the beach club grounds to start hair and makeup. The team from Amie Decker Beauty had everyone looking photo-ready in no time at all, and shortly after, tPoz Photography was there capturing every amazing moment – including as the girls cracked their first Michelob Lights of the day to celebrate. Meanwhile, the guys were also enjoying the morning, getting dressed, assisting one another with ties, and celebrating with their own drinks, of course.
After the bridesmaids helped Angela into her wedding dress, the bride and groom snuck away for their first look. However, the bridesmaids got to share in on the special moment as they peeked in from the cottage windows. Once the first look was over, the whole wedding party and both families joined the couple for photos to allow for maximum party time after the ceremony.
Meanwhile, guests were being transported by Z Best Worldwide buses to the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for the ceremony which took place on the Tavern Lawn facing the water. The bride and groom stood in front of a beautiful floral arch from Floret & Vine; the ceremony music was provided by DJ Sean J of Mixing Maryland and the ceremony was officiated by Chris Moerman.
Once Angela + George said their “I dos” and were officially declared husband and wife, they were whisked away for a brief photo session before they joined their guests for cocktail hour in the Tavern Ballroom. Everyone enjoyed delicious appetizers and drinks before they were called into the Sunset Ballroom to get the rest of the night started.
Once everyone had found their seats, the wedding party was announced by DJ Sean J. Afterwards, the newlyweds made their grand entrance and were introduced as “Angela + George Castaneda” for the first time. They then shared their first dance as husband and wife to “Joy of My Life” by Chris Stapleton.
Following a welcome by the father of the bride, a delicious dinner was served. Next came champagne toasts by the maid of honor and best man, after which all guests moved to the Garden Room for the parent dances. From there, the party officially got started and the dancing didn’t stop… until the late night chicken sliders, pizza, and fries were served.
And even when the party ended, it still didn’t, as guests moved to The Jetty for the afterparty. This couple’s guests were having such an amazing time that no one wanted for the night to come to a close. But as all good things must, this amazing night did eventually come to an end.
We love to see couples having such an amazing time celebrating their big day, and we are so thankful that we were able to be a party of Angela + George’s wedding festivities.
And, special thanks to tPoz Photography for the beautiful photos!
